Bergara B-14 Hunter 7mm PRC 22" 3rd Stainless Rifle

This stainless version of the B-14 Hunter swaps the usual carbon steel and Cerakote for a stainless barrel, receiver and bolt. The barrel and bolt body are both fluted, which trims weight without giving up stiffness, and the muzzle is threaded for a brake or a suppressor. Chambered in 7mm PRC, the 22" barrel is on the short side for a magnum, but the cartridge was built around modern powders and long, high performance bullets and it does not need 26 inches to do its work.

The stock is a glass fiber reinforced polymer shell in a black and grey web pattern, with a molded grip and a comb height that works with a scope in low or medium rings. Bergara's Performance trigger adjusts from the outside with an Allen key and breaks clean. Feeding comes from an internal box with a hinged floorplate holding 3 rounds, which keeps the belly line clean and gives nothing to snag on a pack strap. The receiver is drilled and tapped for bases. The rifle runs about 6.5 pounds bare, light enough to carry all day in country where the shot might come at 500 yards, and Bergara backs the barrel with a sub MOA accuracy guarantee.
