Bergara B-14 Crest Carbon 25 Creedmoor 20" 5rd Sniper Gray Rifle

The B-14 Crest Carbon is Bergara's answer to the backcountry problem of cutting weight without giving up stiffness. Their solution was a monocoque carbon fiber stock with an internal spine, mated to a CURE carbon fiber barrel. Neither part flexes the way a pencil contour barrel or a hollow synthetic stock does, so point of impact holds when the rifle is loaded hard against a pack or a set of sticks. The M5 cutout accepts AICS pattern magazines or a hinged floorplate, and length of pull spacers tune the fit for the shooter rather than the catalog.

25 Creedmoor is the newest entry in the quarter bore world and it belongs in a rifle like this. It throws long .257 bullets at speeds the old 25-06 needed a longer barrel to reach, and recoil stays mild enough that you can stay behind the scope and call your own shot. The 20" barrel is threaded 5/8-24 under an Omni brake for suppressor work. Sniper Gray Cerakote covers the steel receiver, the carbon stock carries black and gray sponge accents, and the magazine holds five.
