Beretta A400 Solo KO 12 GA 26" 2rd Realtree Max-7 Shotgun

Twenty six inches of barrel makes this the shortest and quickest handling A400 Solo in the lineup. In a layout blind where the swing starts from a seated position, or in flooded timber where the shot comes through a hole in the canopy, a shorter barrel gets to the bird faster than a long tube will. Beretta's B-Link Pro gas system runs the action and cycles 3" magnum steel loads and lighter target loads without adjustment. The barrel is Beretta's own Steelium with a vent rib, and the receiver is aluminum so the gun carries easily on a long walk in.

KO stands for Kick-Off, the hydraulic damper system built into the stock. Rather than leaning on a recoil pad alone, it absorbs part of the impulse mechanically and keeps the comb from slapping your cheek on heavy waterfowl loads. Realtree Max-7 covers the stock, forearm, and receiver, a pattern with enough brown, gray, and open water tone to work in a marsh, a cut field, or a timber hole. The B-Lok magazine cap stays put under recoil and the B-Uffer pad handles whatever the Kick-Off system passes along. This is a duck gun built to eat a lot of shells across a season and ask very little in return.
