Beretta 686 Silver Pigeon I Vittoria 20 GA 28" Shotgun

The 686 Silver Pigeon I Vittoria is Beretta's crossover over under in 20 gauge, fitted with the Vittoria stock. Barrels are 28" with a vent rib and a metal bead front sight, blued, and chambered for 3" shells. Five Optima HP choke tubes come with it, so one gun can go from tight patterns for passing birds to open patterns on the skeet field.

The 686 action locks up with two conical lugs at mid action, right between the barrels. That keeps the receiver low and strong. Recent updates added a smoother opening lever that makes the gun easier to open and close, better receiver balance and an auto safety trigger. Floral engraving covers the receiver and gets more detailed around the hinge pins. The stock and forend are Grade 2 walnut with an oil finish and checkering, with a recoil pad on the butt. The Steelium barrels with Optima bore HP chokes are built for dense, even patterns with less felt recoil and muzzle rise. Set up for right hand shooters, it is a light, handy 20 that works as well for upland hunting as it does for a round of clays.
