Balikli BLK 30-06 Sprg 20" 5rd Walnut Rifle

Balikli's BLK takes the 700 pattern action, the design that has been the backbone of American bolt guns for six decades, and dresses it in walnut. This one is chambered in 30-06 Springfield, feeds from a 5 round detachable magazine, and wears a 20" barrel. The receiver comes with a Picatinny rail already installed, so any modern ring set mounts without hunting for the right bases.

The barrel is spiral fluted and threaded at the muzzle, and the bolt body is fluted to match. The trigger is upgraded over what these actions usually carry. The stock is Turkish walnut in a classic sporter profile, and it is the reason to pick this rifle over a synthetic stocked competitor. A 30-06 in a 20" barrel trades a little velocity against a longer tube and gains handling in return, which is the trade most hunters would make in thick country. The cartridge itself needs no defense. Ammunition is stocked everywhere, in bullet weights that cover whitetails through elk, and it has been that way since 1906.
