About the B&T Stille 8.6 Blackout
8.6 Blackout asks a lot of a suppressor: a 338 bore, a fast twist barrel and heavy subsonic bullets. The Stille 8.6 is B&T's answer to it. The tube is 3D printed titanium, which keeps a large bore can from turning a rifle into a front heavy mess, and the blast insert and blast baffle are Inconel where the heat and erosion land hardest. The tube measures 1.75 inches across.
B&T built it around modern bolt action rifles first and kept it rated for gas guns, so the same can moves from a hunting rifle to a semi auto host without a second thought. It threads on directly at 5/8-24 and the rear is HUB pattern at 1.375x24, so hub mounts already in the safe will work with it too. The finish is black. For subsonic 8.6 loads, which use long, heavy bullets, bore room is the whole point of a can like this one.
