Athlon Optics Thermal Monocular

A handheld thermal monocular from Athlon Optics. A thermal device builds its picture from heat rather than from visible light, which is a different technology from image intensified night vision.

A monocular is a scanning tool rather than an aiming tool. It rides in a pocket or on a lanyard and gets picked up to look at something and work out what it is before anything else happens.
