Athlon Midas TAC HD 5-30x56mm MIL Riflescope

This is the milliradian version of Athlon's Midas TAC, running 5x to 30x on a 56mm objective. Shooters who call wind and elevation in mils get a dial that speaks the same language as their reticle and their data book, which removes a conversion step under time pressure. The 56mm front glass matters most at the top of the magnification range, where a smaller objective starts to dim the picture.

Wound down to 5x it handles closer work, and 30x is there when the target gets small or the group needs to be watched. Budget for taller rings than a 40mm scope needs, and check that the comb height still supports a repeatable cheek weld.
