The Ares BTR Gen2 HD covers 2.5 to 15x behind a 50mm objective, a six times zoom range that lets one scope work a close stage and then stretch out without a compromise at either end. At 2.5x the field of view stays wide enough for a target found under time, and 15x is enough magnification to work a small aiming point at distance.
The reticle and adjustments are MIL, so ranging, holding and correcting all happen in the same unit with no conversion math between the spotter and the shooter. Athlon lists this configuration under part number 212015J.
