About the Arken Optics EP5 Gen2
The EP5 Gen2 is Arken Optics' 7-35x56 riflescope, built on a 34mm main tube. The 7x low end and 35x top end cover a wide spread of distances in one optic, and the 56mm objective is sized to feed that much magnification.
The TheOne reticle sits in the first focal plane. A first focal plane reticle grows and shrinks with the power ring, so a holdover or a wind mark reads the same at 12x as it does at 35x - you are not locked into shooting holds at top magnification only. The 34mm tube means 34mm rings, which are widely available and give the elevation turret room to travel. Arken sells this configuration as the second generation EP5.
