About the Apex TSS Waterfowl Z-Series
Apex TSS Waterfowl (the Z-Series) is straight Tungsten Super Shot for ducks: 1oz of #8 TSS in a 3" 12 gauge hull, rated at 1550 fps. TSS is far denser than steel, so a small #8 pellet keeps its energy and penetration at distances where steel of the same size gives out, and the pattern stays full.
It needs a 3" chamber. Apex lists 3" 12 gauge TSS loads as not recommended for the Remington V3. Sold in a 10rd box.
