Stratified is not marketing language here, it describes how the shell is built. Apex layers two shot sizes in the same hull instead of loading one: #8 pellets to open a dense, forgiving pattern on close birds, and #7 pellets carrying more weight downrange for the ones that flare wide. A dove field gives you both shots in the same hour, which is exactly the problem this load was built around.

The pellets are high antimony lead, hard enough to hold their shape through the forcing cone so fewer of them fly off the edge of the pattern. This is the heaviest 12 gauge dove load in the Element line at 1-1/4oz in a 2.75" hull, so it hits with authority late in the day when the birds get high and the shots get long. Packed 25rd per box.
