About the Amend2 AR-15 Mod-A 5.56
The Mod-A is Amend2's stiffer follow up to the Mod-2. The 30rd body is fiberglass reinforced nylon that takes the same impact as the older magazine but resists feed lip spread and holds its shape better in heat and cold. Feed lip spread is the failure point on most polymer AR magazines, and it is the one Amend2 went after with this revision.
It feeds 5.56 or 223 Rem in AR-15 pattern rifles. The reworked grip pattern on the body gives your hand something to bite on when you strip a magazine out of a pouch wet or gloved. This one is coyote brown.
