Alpha Foxtrot AF1911 Romulus 9mm 5" 20rd Ported Pistol

The AF1911 Romulus takes the 1911 layout and gives it a double stack magazine, a polymer grip module and a slide cut for optics. This version runs a 5" bull ramped barrel with ports in the barrel and in the front of the slide, venting gas upward to hold the muzzle down between shots. Frame and slide are SUS416 stainless steel in a black DLC finish, and the dust cover carries a Picatinny rail for a light.

The rear of the slide has a MOS style adapter cut, and an RMR plate is in the box, so mounting a red dot comes down to bolting on the plate and the optic. Night Fision sights handle aiming without a dot. Controls include an ambidextrous thumb safety and an extended slide release, and the flared magwell guides fast reloads. Two magazines are included, one 17rd and one 20rd. It is hammer fired with a single action 1911 trigger. A full size 9mm set up for competition and high round count range days where quick follow up shots matter.
