Alpha Foxtrot AF1911 Romulus Compact 9mm 3.5" 20rd Compensated Pistol

Alpha Foxtrot's AF1911 Romulus Compact keeps the 1911 grip angle and trigger and builds them around a double stack 9mm frame. The 3.5 inch barrel is threaded and runs a compensator, which is the whole reason this configuration exists: gas gets vented upward so the muzzle stays flat and the dot comes back down fast. The slide is stainless steel with a black DLC coating and is cut for MOS pattern optics, so a red dot mounts directly. A Picatinny section on the dust cover takes a weapon light.

Capacity is the other departure from a traditional 1911. This pistol feeds from 20 round magazines and the package includes five of them along with a carry case, which is enough to run a class or a match weekend without hunting for spares. The frame and slide are both steel, so the gun carries real weight, and against 9mm pressure with a comp working the recoil impulse is short and flat. A beavertail grip safety and serrated slide finish it out. It is a lot of pistol in a compact footprint, and it shoots like a competition gun that happens to fit under a jacket.
