The AGM Global Vision NVG-40 Night Vision Goggle / Bino Dual Tube Gen 3 delivers true stereoscopic vision through a redundant dual-tube design with a 40-degree field of view, providing a broad, unforced visual field that minimizes the need to pan or reposition. Built with advanced multi-coated optics in a compact composite housing, this lightweight, head or helmet mountable system runs on a single CR123A or AA battery for up to 20 hours of operation, and up to 80 hours with an optional battery pack, all while featuring a built-in infrared illuminator with two power levels for reading in complete darkness. The unit showcases Gen 3 Auto-Gated White Phosphor Level 1 image intensifier tubes offering 64-72 lp/mm resolution, 1x magnification, a 27 mm F/1.3 lens system, and a focus range from 0.25 m to infinity, with eye relief of 25 mm and diopter adjustment from -6 to +2 dpt. Practical controls include manual gain, automatic shut-off, and bright light cut-off for enhanced reliability, and the NVG is designed for versatile hands-free use through a variety of mounts and interface shoes, including preinstalled NVG and bayonet/horn interface shoes and optional mini-rail compatibility for modern rail systems.
