Adams Arms Standard Picatinny Piston Kit AR15 Mid Length Gas System

The Adams Arms Standard Picatinny Piston Kit for AR-15 Mid Length from Adams Arms is a high-performance, self-contained gas system designed to enhance reliability and versatility for .223/5.56 x 45 mm NATO platforms. This kit features the patented One-Piece Bolt Carrier and a .750" Picatinny gas block with three settings—full gas for standard fire, half gas for suppressed use, and no gas for single-shot applications—along with a gas plug, bolt spring, drive rod with bushing and spring, and an installation instruction card, all purpose-built to streamline setup without the receiver bushing or installation dowel. The Adams Arms piston system delivers a short-stroke, free-floating operation that is self-cleaning and designed to expel carbon and gases forward away from the shooter, contributing to longer barrel life and reduced maintenance. With a corrosive-resistant coating and a design that minimizes harmonics transfer into the barrel, this system helps maintain accuracy and reduces muzzle flash and sonic crack, which is especially beneficial for night vision and suppressed configurations. The package places the gas system 9.866 inches from the barrel extension to the shoulder, providing a compact, efficient solution for AR-15 mid-length builds that demand reliability, adaptability, and cleaner operation across a variety of shooting environments.
