The AAC HUB2K takes the classic M4-2000 and rebuilds it as a 3D printed Inconel can that is stronger and lighter without giving up sound performance. The baffles are opened up to 6mm to help cut back pressure and end cap strikes on short barrel rifles. AAC rates it for 5.56/223 and 6mm ARC, and it is full auto rated.
The rear uses the 1.375-24 HUB standard, so any HUB style mount will fit. It comes with a 1/2-28 direct thread mount that has a built in muzzle brake. With that mount it measures 6.04 inches long and 1.5 inches across, and it weighs 12.7 ounces. The finish is black high temp Cerakote, and AAC lists 34 dB of reduction.
